The following is an interview Joshua Shapiro conducted with Mexican journalist Jaime Mausson, concerning Senior Mausson’s Rose Quartz Crystal Skull:

Shapiro: do you know more about the circumstances how Rosie was discovered?Mausson:  A road close to Teziutlan, Puebla,  was being made. When a machine,  move some dirt, the head came rolling  down. A man saw it and hide it. He came to México and found a man : “Professor Jorge”. He brought the Skull to me. I was going to get married and didn´t have any money, then he offered me the piece for 200 dls. I believe just half of that went to the man who found it.

Shapiro:  did the man who sold you the skull have any idea of additional history related to Rosie?

Mausson:   No. Just what i told you. But he assure me that was real, and insisted that I should have it. This man over the year sold me many pieces that after analysis demonstrated to be real. I wanted to give this pieces to the National Museum with the condition to exhibit them, they said that I should keep them, they had to much, and they would have to much effort to investigate the pieces.

Shapiro:   why did you decide to buy this crystal skull?

Mausson:   I felt it was very special, from the very beginning, I didn´t have any doubt that it was real and the story truth. It was so simple, and the piece so inexpensive. It had to be real. To make a piece like this by hand it would take months. To sell it for one hundred bucks…? The one a just bought in Laughlin, I believe from Brazil, cost me 1200 dls., and is modern. is also pink. Think about that. You would sell something like this so cheap just if you found it or stole it. This was not stolen, then…?

Shapiro:  did you have an interest in crystal skulls before?

Mausson:  Not really. I never thought I could have one. It looked very interesting, especially the Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull.

Shapiro:  what kind of personal experiences have you had with Rosie?

Mausson:  Really nice. It´s so wonderful the energy around it, Very positive, not just me but many people. Once the energy was recorded with a machine and was amazingly high. However I don´t have the information available, but this could be done again.

Shapiro:  do you have any plans to do something with Rosie in the future? a research or share the crystal skull with others?

Mausson:  Yes I would love this Crystal Skull to be recognised as authentic piece. I am not planing to sell it or make money with it, I really feel in love with it.

Shapiro:  any other comments you which to share, that have not been asked that you think would be  important for people to know about Rosie?

Mausson:  I believe there is something around the Crystal Skulls I believe it because I have felt the energy around them. If there is something important that can be done with Rosie I am willing to discuss it. If this is one of the real one, the world should know. is one of the very few Rose Quartz Skulls and is beautiful. Very well carved and polished. Is very evident that was polished by hand and I believe with love by the craftsman who carved this beautiful piece.
