Today is the BIG day.  The movie is released!  Unfortunately, I am not able to see it til the weekend.  On the early local news this morning a fellow who saw an early release gave a review.  This fellow was not a fan of Crystal Skulls perse, but of Indiana Jones.  He gave it a two thumbs up, stating that it was comparable to the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I’m interested in hearing what others think.  If you have seen the movie, please give us your review here.  If you are a follower of the real legend, please let us know if you believe the presentation was accurate.

Also, because I am not in the USA, I was not able to see any of the televised events… if you had an opportunity to watch the SciFi Channel documentary, the History Channel’s presentation, and or Fox News’ Sean Hannity’s coverage, your review of those programs would be appreciated too.

Just click on the Comments link below to add your review, and Thank You in advance!

Indiana Jones 4 Movie Review
- without spoiling the plot -

REAL CRYSTAL SKULLS ARE FAR MORE FANTASTIC THAN INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULLS.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was quite the fantasy adventure! Near the beginning of the film, Indy briefly talks about the Mitchell Hedges Crystal Skull, and the legend of 13 real crystal skulls. Other than that, the crystal skull in the film bore no resemblance to actual crystal skulls - in fact, the crystal skull was so light as to be obviously made of plastic, even though they said it was solid quartz crystal. A life-size crystal skull is very heavy, and difficult to hold in one hand (Amar, the rare Tibetan Crystal Skull weighs 22 pounds).

The shape of the crystal skull in the film was very alien, and not humanoid in any way because the movie relates the crystal skulls to extraterrestrials. There are some actual crystal skull theories and legends that suggest that the real ancient crystal skulls may have been created by extraterrestrials, or may be the consciousness of extraterrestrials in crystalline form. This theory is presented in response to the fact that science cannot explain how these ancient crystal skulls could have been carved or created by man, since it would not be possible to duplicate some of these skulls even with our “advanced” modern technology.

“The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” is certainly entertaining in typical Indiana Jones style. The film is likely to feed the minds of skeptics where crystal skulls are concerned because of the strong extraterrestrial theme, but people who are into ET’s and UFO’s will be thrilled.

Other than the movie mentioning the Mayans, it does not discuss the real Mayan Legends relating to the crystal skulls - legends that the Mayan people have passed down from generation to generation, and that indigenous cultures all over the world share in some form.

The great thing about the Indiana Jones film is that it has brought awareness of crystal skulls to people around the world, awakening the consciousness of humanity to the crystal skulls’ power to influence the mind of man. As Indy says, “The real treasure is knowledge”!

On the http://www.crystalskulls.com website and its related links (including http://www.whoisjoshuashapiro.com) , you will find more intriguing information about the legends, theories, secrets and mysteries regarding actual crystal skulls. Some of the real stories about these crystal skulls are far more fantastic than any screenwriter could come up with.

Enjoy the movie!

Thank you so much for your review! I’m more excited than ever now to see the movie. Had no idea there was an extraterrestrial theme…

I saw the movie last night here in the uk and like the comments above it was true Indiana Jones style and has created awareness about the legend that surounds the real crystal skulls, however i was dissapointed the film did not capture the essence of the true legend, it could have been so much better and inspiring for the real truth and prophecy to be exposed in a much more believeable storey line.
